Tom is an Ear Nose and Throat Surgery Registrar in the Mersey Deanery with an interest in Paediatrics. Tom has contributed to health system strengthening projects with PTCF and other NGOs in Mozambique, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Burundi and Malawi. He has volunteered on humanitarian de-mining programmes with the HALO Trust in Columbia, Cambodia, Malawi and Afghanistan. He is currently a Wellcome Trust Clinical PhD Fellow in Global Health interested in interdisciplinary research.
