Dedicated to training medics in Primary Trauma Care (PTC)
Through our innovative PTC course, we provide free, life-saving training to front-line health workers in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs), equipping them with the skills and knowledge to deliver emergency medical care in even the most challenging circumstances.
A Brief History
The Primary Trauma Care programme developed initially in 1996 out of the activities of several individuals.

Our charity was founded by a small group of doctors led by Oxford-based consultant anaesthetist Dr Douglas Wilkinson.
