PTCF People
PTCF operates with remarkable efficiency, employing just two part-time staff members. The majority of our efforts are driven by our vast network of dedicated volunteers, who generously donate their time to conduct PTC courses worldwide.
Our Patron
“I am proud to be the Patron of the Primary Trauma Care Foundation and its lifesaving training, helping doctors all over the world to provide critical, immediate management to the seriously injured.
The Foundation excels at training doctors in some of the poorest countries, with very limited resources, with outstanding success.”
Sir Terence English KBE FRCS, Patron
Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees serves as the governing authority for the PTCF. Answerable to the UK Charity Commission, it ensures the organisation adheres to its founding mission, is managed efficiently, maintains accountability, and upholds suitable strategies, policies, and ethical standards.
Comprised entirely of volunteers from the medical profession and other pertinent areas, the trustees convene typically four times annually in Oxford, with video links connecting those residing abroad.
